A question on what you said about throwing the same utility over and over. Something me and my mates do is for example to throw the top mid smoke (mirage) most of the time, so the enemy won't ever know if there are 3 people coming into mid or no one or maybe just a lurker. Something else is throwing similar smokes to take some control but mix up the positions, e.g. getting control with the smoke and going aggressive, going passive, going solo or with backup to trade you. So you can catch the opponents that try to adapt off guard. Why shouldn't I throw the same utility then? I am often thinking, if the same utility is coming in, they might get accustomed to it and not expect a change of pace or a change in play from us.

You can watch Astralis demos for some quick tips. Tldw though, they rarely ever just hold them out. Especially when more than one person is defending, or pushing, one person can throw a Molly to stop the push, and as you are retreating or trying to push said retreat, you can throw an he nade. Try to be throwing nades into areas that you know enemies usually are, but from a place that it's hard to peek you quickly. Nading car from New box or oranges as opposed to Nading banana from car.

My biggest problem is that I refuse to let my money drop below like, 1500. So i keep cheapskating on utility, so that I wont have zero money if i lose a round. It's a bad habit

Its basic economics to balance out ut inv, think about it, if u have 4500 u would buy an M4a4 and kevlar and helm and maybe a kit, but you have no nades, so instead of the m4 buy a famas and spend the extra money saved on a molly or smoke.

@@christianbotezatu7495 I'm more think about the rounds where CTs have a full buy, basically, if buying the extra grenades drops me below 1500 or 1200 I wont do it to give myself a cushion for the next round in case we lose. I buy famas a lot cuz I like the extra money. But on a full buy round I should probably stop avoiding the incendiary and diffuser and just be okay with having only 500 dollars left over.

@@mikeymcg4907 There's a reason why eco rounds exist. Try to remember that if you don't get all the possible utility you might lose rounds. Also saving money on full buys obviously isn't gonna help if you play with your team and eco with them the next round.
