I feel it necessary to mention, before someone links THAT video, that peeker's advantage isn't all about your literal ability to see your opponent before they see you, a large (potentially larger than the netcode aspect) part of peeker's advantage is simply the way humans interact when holding an angle for a while, and the idea that someone holding an angle may need to adjust their crosshair more than the guy peeking since you can peek in multiple different ways. For me being in positive mood and fully focused is the most important thing. If thing start badly and you start with 0 0 7 and your team is losing 0:8, its crucial to come back from that mentally and be able to get back to the game. Being positive is the x factor that can make or brake a game. If you have supportive team its easier to start playing good again, but if they are toxic, blame you, scream or whatever than its very hard to get back in to the game. Its also important to be confident in your skills and not panic when you see enemies rushing you

Tip 7 might be the best I’ve ever heard, I see so many people in lower ranks that get stuck in the mud in clutch situations because they are too afraid to take a risk even if it better their chances. I see all the time people don’t understand that it is better to take the risk and peek a guy, and rather they wait and end up getting double peeled and not stand in a chance at all. Great video love the tips

1. Peeker's Advantage (Your player model is shifted on to the left. Shouldn't peek from the left most of the time) 2. Angle Isolation 3. Solo Utility 4. Support Flashes 5. Be Decisive 6. Take Risks (Be unpredictable, play some rounds passive and some active) 7. Trade Frags 8. Pick Default (Prefire default standing spots) 9. Enemy Transition (Important for IGL or Lurker) 10. Be Like Water (Be fluid in what role you are playing)

No.5 is really important in pugs. Saying what you are going to do and let the teammate decide the next steps, instead of asking and wasting a few seconds. Maybe it’s gonna waste a flash but it could also make huge play.

How to be better at CSGO: Play the game and reflect
@RaimaNd4 жыл бұрын
While it's true it's also not true. A lot of people stay in silver/gold nova/MG for years and thousands of hours, even when they reflects their games. The thing is that not every human is as intelligent tacticwise to gain something out of the reflections. For those people voo is worth pure gold because he tells them what to look at. Back then I explained people things on my own but basically voo is doing my job, I just link videos of voo because he not only explains it very well, but it's also always on point.

Hey, I'm having trouble holding angles. I have some trouble with my mouse movement. No matter how good my angle can be, if I don't hit it's no use. AWP or Scout are no Problem, but deagle and AK suddenly become a huge challenge. What are the things I could do to improve? What's the mentality I should keep in mind? (Besides crosshair positioning. I usually know when they're gonna peak short or far and while that doens't mean I don't accept help regarding that, I'd love to see my aim get fixed first.)
@vooCSGO4 жыл бұрын
That's a tough one. You can try to get some specific practice on holding angles by practicing with a friend and having them try to take a bombsite on you... maybe try retake servers? I think a large part of this is that if you're doing something like DMing you're typically NEVER holding any angles you're constantly peeking so you might just be kind of rusty in that regard. Other than that unless you're playing super expected angles and they're just nailing you with an instant headshot, it's hard to say.
@aspielm7594 жыл бұрын
@@vooCSGO Alright thank you. Normally I hold very unusal angles. I'm very creative in that regard, so it's even more frustratin when I can't get a shot off. Maybe tracking and flick-aim training would, but I'm skeptical. I'm definitly going to try the retakes scenarios though and you're 100% about the rusty part. I just returned to CS:Go. All my friends got better and so finally it doesn't bore me anymore when I play with or against them. They finally started to play a bit more serious, but as I mentioned, you can have good gamesense, good awarness and good tricks up your sleeve, if you can't "point and click" then it's no use.
@user-ls9yk5if9o4 жыл бұрын
aspielm unusual angles are usually harder to hit shots from than usual ones. good angles are common for a reason. its also harder to hit people not looking at you, so try to play more common angles
@marLamaDeo4 жыл бұрын
aspielm As voo said try retake and retake execution servers but 1v1 rifle servers might be helpful too (if the level of play is high enough) if you actively use it to practice holding the angle people tend to peek. It might also help to theorise around the mechanics of what you’re doing relating to whether you’re looking at the angle or your crosshair, the tension in your mouse hand and whether you are maintaining that and priming yourself mentally for the peek and whether you’re readjusting it comfortably when having to readjust aim if they peek different to what you expected etc.

Tip 2: Map Dust2, I'm a CT. Holding short from A site, and I see 2-3 Ts go long and the others go short. How can I isolate myself from long? Should I first isolate myself from short? Drop to CT?
@erick23284 жыл бұрын
well if u able to read that situation coming, then utility is your answer and i say flash first is better choice to either make them stop or push blindly and make them fight you 1v1 as much as possible and avoid dying as long as you can till your team rotation, then the second you need to worry is molly to site from a short, and smoke is handy in that situation, smoke the molly then flash out to catch them offguard often can guarantee you to get 1-2 kill depending on the situation
@Raidar294 жыл бұрын
you can smoke the front of site for cover from long, if your ramp you can do the same. you can also flash long from site and peek it. you can molly short to buy time. when i dont have nades i tend to push/hold short from in front of the boxes.
@dabeh125004 жыл бұрын
imo, in dust 2 a site, you should either fight to take long or short as CT. if you play 2 in a and your mate is holding in pit while you hold close to site, as soon as you see Ts throwing nades from short, try to delay them with your nades, then help out your mate in pit and take control of long. you should then try to stay alive, wait for rotates then play for retake. do the opposite if your mate is playing short. in case that you’re left on your own in the site and getting sandwiched from short and long, i suggest throwing a smoke in site (the space where you plant for long), then spam flashes above ramp in which you could peek with and fight long to make as much damage as you can.

Hey voo, do you have any new tips on spraying down or transfer to multiple opponents? (I know that you've made a video on it but in 2015 but maybe you got some new tips), it's one of the biggest weaknesss I have in the game where I see multiple enemies where it seems to be easy to spray them down given the chances and killed the first guy then somehow missed most of my bullets on the next guy just standing still while reloading. p.s. love your content.
@kianleonard69624 жыл бұрын
I think its a pretty situational thing. The best way is probably just to go to aim botz and practice your spray transfers instead of like mathematically calculating the residuals of the 23rd ak bullet or something. That being said, stopping, taking cover, getting a better angle, and shooting the other guy will probably more often be the better play

@bartterp884 жыл бұрын
I could say to you a few things. These feelings are something a lot of us have sometimes. Remember why you and everyone else play the game; to have fun. It's okay to make mistakes, to lose some games every now and then. Play for fun but seriously at the same time with 1 purpose (if ladders are a thing for you) to get better and getting more experience. This will come naturally and is something you don't need to do anything about, other than giving your best. The outcome of one game doesn't change anything in that regard. Even if it's a rank-up game. You'll get the rank you deserve eventually (and more if you continue playing).

Nice tips, but you should investigate more about peeker’s advantage, it is actually not higher ping = advantage is more like lower ping = advantage. Also, it always depends on the defenders Ping to determine who has the advantage. For example, defender has 20 ping and peeker 80, defender will have the advantage.

That’s wrong, it doesn’t matter who has the higher ping. Peekers advantage is the time it takes for the information that you peeked to reach the defender. This is proportional to the total ping (peeker + defender ping).
