I did a sort of interview / Q&A with the staff of Neverlose. I asked them a series of questions related to their cheat, Valve / VAC Net, and cheating in general.

thanks for making these videos ive learned a lot, as a cs student and legit player i got interested in how cheats worked particularly in rust and counter strike. as i got further into the rabbithole i realized a lot of people just spew baloney nonsense without actually knowing what they are talking about. i honestly would like to experiment with the software side of cheats, ive gained a lot of respect for professional cheat makers in the sense that they know how to handle a business

It's relatively well-known that every cheat is pasted, in some way. It could even be a simple checkbox, I guarantee you that every cheat developer pasted in SOME way or another. Neverlose included.

this is not true pasting in cheater terms is taking code without knowing its functions and fully stealing it and pretending you made it this does not apply for checkboxes or menus most menus are purchased from menu developers or self made this is not pasting as anyone with just a little bit of Imgui experience could make a menu but its extremely time consuming so we outsource it to other developers so we can spend time working on cheat features also using things like a graphical hook for example Imgui is not pasting because its meant for people to use to create a graphical interface in c++ or C# (ETC) also its a known fact almost all external cheats on cs2 are pasted people who know what they are doing will obv go for internals because it gives more access than an external

Pasting derives from the term "Copy Pasting", which literally means copying a sketch of code and claiming as the software is 100% made from scratch, when in actuality, every developer pasted something on their cheat. When you refer ImGui for example, it's not considered "pasting" if you make the features, but the menu very clearly is, because you're using someone elses base for a feature, in this case, the menu. Even though I understand making the menu is tedious, picking up another base as your menu very clearly implies that your cheat has the menu pasted, even if you outsource it to other people.

@@rive3051 imgui is a gui framework/library, ontop of having probably one of the most powerful drawsystems ive ever seen i never call anyone a paster if they use imgui, you would be surprised on what software we use on the daily that uses imgui, why should i reinvent the wheel?

I do not sell cheats just play on my own: Unknowncheats, a lot of pasting/ trying to do stuff on my own with GH, join a community, ask questions answer questions You also need some understanding of how processes work, for externals also a little bit of kernel development you can find a bunch of stuff online and you can build on top of it. I strongly believe simply externals are way easier than internals, you should have no problem reverse engineering the entity list (find a video on it) make a bsp parser, there should be some code, valve documentation on it. Stuff is really fun, just try to make something really simple like reading player health in an outside program and then build upon that, keep adding features and improving. If you want to do some fun stuff like protobufs, and packet sniffing radar, just look at what other people made, stackoverflow, GH great helpers

05:02 - is there a possible way to see if the cheat exe is actually a possible rat or some kind of virus before running it? Cause virus total isnt obviusly really helping

You can't really tell unless you have experience in malware analysis, just don't run random software from the internet with an unknown reputation on your OS.

inorder to use virus total correctly all u have to do is check for dropped files that are also executed then proceed to check them also

Honestly I don’t really care about closet cheaters that are good at the game legit, at least they put time in legit and they usually don’t go blatant/hard. It’s the closet cheaters that are horrible or just started playing that piss me off. They go blatant and don’t even realize they’re going blatant.
