This is something that depend on skin, for example low float mw neon rider have almost no overpay for float. m4 printstream on ft you can get 0.18 float by buying 5€ extra and it's look mutch better than 0.37 float and being mutch cheaper than mw. But where this thing actually starts to impact is something like omega gloves, normal pair of ft is 370€ and to get 0.16 float you need to pay 200€ more and at least me personaly if i look omegas for play skin i dont see that mutch difference to 0.37 float and 0.16 float that i would pay 200€ more to get low float one. Something like king snakes is tricky one, normal ft pair is 280€, 0,16 float pair is more than douple of the price but it's also looks cleaner. and there is still huge price cap between low float ft vs mw (600€ vs 1100€) i would bet that is easier to sell those low float ft than mw king snakes.

I agree with most of what you said but I think patterns like the rainbow pattern on black pearl should be considered for actual overpay because they do look a lot better ingame than typical blackpearls. to be honest, do not try to buy any high-price items in CS2 now, especially some collections and hard knifes, and gloves, TOO LESS NEW ITEMS in CS2 were released, we cannot know that what the price will be, maybe an update can ruin your item forever, or someting never fix(like 2015 dreamhack titan gold, i got it in 2023 mid, it still looks like a bullshit until now), if some thing you really want to have, please wait for Operations or new cases

0.15-16 FT omegas can look exactly like MW depending on pattern# for 30-40% cheaper. For gloves the float to avoid is the middle of each range where you pay premium that is hard to recover in resale. For gloves Top MW and Top FT are always in demand, but stuff like 0.25 FT see way less volume

Gloves in WW are actually a very good deal. It's plenty of them, they are mostly A LOT cheaper than FT, but don't differ much and sometimes it's even better looking if you find the right pattern

Well worn skins are usually something to stay away from. However, there are a few skins that look just as good in WW compared to FT. For example: shadow daggers lore in WW look just as clean compared to a medium float FT. It only works with a few skins, but is a good way to save money
