I've had the Speedcut Nano kit for nearly six months. I'm finally getting around to installing it. It took about 4 months to get the kit from Oregon due to high demand for the product, I guess.

Me working on stuff usually ends up as fodder for a comic skit. I especially laugh at myself when I get everything put back together only to find that I left out a key component. This happens quite often. I seem to never learn, haha! I’m loving the warmer weather. It always makes me feel younger and more alive. It’s always so good to hear from you! Take care, stay happy and stay kind!

The oil adjustment will shorten or lengthen the plunger stroke of the oiler. The gear is on the plunger shaft and as it's turning it pumps oil buy stroking back and forth. Longer stroke means more oil. The end of the plunger shaft is ramped and causes it to pump. Just make sure when you reassemble the clutch drum the plastic worm gear is seated to the clutch drum properly. There are two dog ears on the spur sprocket that fit into the face of the plastic worm gear. Take care!

Thanks for bringing me up to speed on the oiler mechanism. I was going by intuition and observation, but you really cleared things up for me. I’ll mention this in a future amateur saw video.

Thanks Mike. I really like that little saw. It runs better now than it did five years ago, when I bought it. Suzie says hello, Mike!

Hi Wayne. Chainsaws are so much fun to work on. Once you know how they are designed, there are very few differences between brands and styles. Not so much for old Stihl weed whips however. Spent all day working on 2 identical FS36 Stihls.Neither will fire and I gave up and left them in the porch until tomorrow. Maybe new gas mix, maybe new plugs. I enjoyed this video a lot. I miss running my saws so much. I just can't lift them anymore without my stupid back screaming at me.

Hi Angie! I can't imagine the kind of pain you're in to not be able to lift them. I've only known a few people like that and I'm sure it is pure misery. I have never worked on Stihl products. I have a small Stihl that was given to us by Auction Indianna at the first Buckinstock. It runs, but doesn't have much power. I thought it would be a perfect saw for Suzie, but I never took the time to troubleshoot the problem. Maybe I'll dive into it now that you're telling me they can be challenging.

Yeah, I'm living in the reality of diminishing time. The days seemingly fly by like minutes, but all the things I am compelled to accomplish require weeks to complete. I remember watching The Bucket List movie and saying, "that will never be me." Well, now I carry around a huge bucket, haha! I always love hearing from you, moofdogg. Stay safe and kind out there!

Hey Al. It’s so good to hear from you. I take it you survived the Wisconsin winter, ey?
@aldredske6197
@aldredske6197 Ай бұрын
@@WaynePolcin Definitely survived this year. We actually only had about 10 days of actual winter this year. The rest of the time it was either fall or spring. All the birds came back from one to two months early this year. Just hope I survive the summer. Hopefully it's not too hot this year.

I'm about ready to throw out every calendar and clock in my life. I don't want to know what date and time it is anymore, haha! And people need to forget my birthday. I might have trouble if I try to forget my anniversary, though!

Hey there, did you rename that thing lightning? Looking good!
@WaynePolcin
@WaynePolcin Ай бұрын
Hey Byron. I haven't renamed it, but I will now. I've been running that little beast for the past couple of days and it is nowhere near the same saw it was when I bought it. That's a lot of power in a small package!
