INDIAN CLASSICAL DRUM SOLO | SambitC

3 years ago I was humbly invited by the great Sir Ranjit Barot & Ustad Zakir Hussain to perform at Ustad Allah Rakha's 100th birthday celebrations in NCPA grounds, to play some of Abbaji's favortite chakkardars and a solo. It was one of greatest days of my musical life. Though that day my time was less but I kept thinking how to make an Indian classical drum solo, how to make it sound unique?
Since then this idea has been eating my mind, this video is just the beginning of an unknown journey. This is from a gig last month with my brother Indrayuddh Majumdar's dream fusion project Indriya, where I got this chance to explore on my own. Hope you all enjoy it.
