The best thing about her is she teaches in a way that even a beginner with no introduction to Indian beats can learn and incorporate. All without being holier than thou or condescending! Kudos to the sound engineers for the tasty sound on the snare and toms Thanks Drumeo for flying her down to Abbotsford BC, here in Metro Vancouver Audio visual treat beyond words

This is awesome - I love this! I'm a big fan of traditional Indian music. Thank you so much for posting this! I am going to practice my fretless bass along with these rhythms. Also, I think that anyone who is criticizing you perhaps does not understand the rhythms and tonal systems of Indian music. Indian music often employs very complex rhythms ( often in odd time signatures ) as well as the idea of microtones. I guess the microtone example does not apply in drumming videos, but they're still a huge part of Indian Music. These concepts do not even appear in most Western music so perhaps this is why some people are challenged when trying to comprehend what's happening musically.

The Indian beats have such a great energy to them. It was cool to hear an interpretation on a kit. Love her use of ghost beats a lot!

Holy mother of drum tunings! Sounds so damn sweet. Not to mention how Sarah's professional playing, and the studio engineers' work is bringing the best out of the kit.

Drumeo going intercontinental! Shes very confident behind the kit, almost more than the guest co-host. He needs to be a little more animated or energetic with someone as commanding as her behind the kit. Just a observation of the dynamic. Hes very soft spoken and reserved and shes very aware of her material and how she talks about it. Cool video though, hope he doesn’t our 2 cents too seriously now lol
