Great talk. Humanization of war means more war. We should stop war altogether.

War can never be humane. Will people decide on the people to be sacrificed to the monster of war, so the rest would remain safe till the next meal for the monster, would you agree to sacrifice your children or family member for the masses. Like in old dragon stories. Will that be humane. Those at the top would ofcourse never be sacrificed nor their children. Humankind must be brought back in touch with humanitarian principles and values.

In a world of 8 billion precious humans with 80 million net new precious humans joining us annually war falls to pieces. Tolstoy etc could never even dream of the world we live in. With a few clicks anyone can visit most anyplace on earth in real time. No individual nation has every resource needed for their own citizens. Cooperation required. Science now shows that we're related to not only each other but to the entire DNA based biosphere. Clean sheet of paper needed. New religion a necessity. Old models belong in museums

For the US, "humanisation" of war simply means American troop don't die. It doesn't mean that the other side doesn't suffer and die horribly.
