dear m hussain spectral ordinate always ( Rotd50) why not other ordinates please??? and which component should i consider for time history analysis ? horizontal 1 or 2 or vertical? if i am applying the time history loads on my structure two orthogonal directions ( x and z in case of staad pro software) in the record data file only accelerations are arranged horizontally step by step ? without the times ? thank you

Thank you for the information. It was really helpful! I found some difficulties finding the records for the Kobe earthquake. I followed your steps, but when I'm looking for the records from Kobe University (1108) the website can't find the document. It returns this notification "Your search yielded NO records to process. Please check your input or modify your search criteria. Your usable-period range may be too wide!". Can you help me with this problem?

@@civilmdc Thank you for responding.😊 yes I have understood these but at SAP 2000 after uploading the data file where do we have to put exactly the 9.8m/sec to change into metric system. As Iam doing my design on metric.
