▸ The Predator WPA Men’s World 10-Ball Championship 2023 is an annual event organised by CueSports International and Predator Group. The event is sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) and takes place during the CueSports International Expo in Las Vegas.
▸ 128 players will compete for a total prize fund of $250,000 with $60,000 to be awarded to the winning player.
▸ The Predator Pro Billiard Series is a series of open, professional events held around the world to provide more opportunities for professional and aspiring pool players to compete in high-quality events, earn more income, sharpen their skills, and earn their way into the Predator World 10-Ball Championship held in Las Vegas each year as part of the CueSports International Expo.
▸ This event is played on Predator Apex pro pool tables covered with Predator Arcadia Performance Cloth, with Predator Arcos II balls, and under the Predator Arena billiard lights.

Players must always be careful when applying right or left English because the more speed you apply, the bigger the deflection there will be on the cue ball. This is exactly what happened in rack 9 (57:15).

@@chch1504 Of course they remember all of these things about deflections when applying english, but sometimes they seem to forget to adjust where to hit the contact point especially when the ball position at hand is too easy and simple. I'm sure they quickly realized where they've gone wrong after the shot.

@@Xombologna I'm quite sure the participants of this tournament are well aware what deflections could do to the cue ball due to the use of english, you know, like less deflections when you hit it at slow speed and more deflections when you hit the object ball with more speed. Average players and beginners will benefit more knowing about this more than these tournament participants.

@@dominadorchan8171 knowing something does Not mean you will avoid any misjudge:) speaking of deflection you Always have to include Things Like curve, induced throw and even the cloth and Balls can make a difference. I do train people in Pool. I Always advise to Play NO english.. until you really know what you do.
