I cut down my coffee I used to drink 4 to 7 cups before when I used to smoke. It made me jittery and I look for smokes. Now I only drink 1-2 cups of coffee and not looking for smokes. Thanks Chris for making this video.

Hi, Chris I quit smoking for 4 days now cold turkey. I relapsed to smoking for 6 months after being smokefree for 5 months. Really felt disappointed myself and all non-smokers. I'm glad I'm back on track to success. Thank you for all your videos. About coffee, I don't have to much association with it . I only drink coffee after waking up in the morning. Glad to see you in one of your latest video. I just received the soft paper back copy of your book today. It's very helpful. Thank you.

Omg love the kumbyya..for me I was one that had to start changing one thing at a time...morning routine had to change...i still have coffee but not when I get up..I changed the routine when I drank it..see you on Sat..

One thing at a time is definitely a good way to do it, to be honest my approach to changing my morning routine happened a similar way :)

Had a similar experience, where my 4+ cup a day gave me jitters after quitting smoking. Had to cut back. After almost five months, down to one or no cups in morning, with an occasional mid day cup. It helped me.

Nah. Only if it triggers you to smoke. I kept my morning cup even tho id normally smoke with it. I was aBle to drink and not smoke

I absolutely could not stop coffee. I cut it in half and I stopped drinking it black. I put instant coffee in a cup of almond milk, heat it up and add sweetener. I got my fix and cravings weren't unbearable that way. But as time went on, I did not want it any more.

I'm in my fourth day of Caffeine and nicotine quitting and it is becoming real hard, I just keep reminding myself that If I smoke that one cigarette or drink that one coffee we are back to ground zero. it is always good to think that the craving will only be temporarily and that once the days are past you want be thinking about it again.

I cant have as much coffee anymore. I used to drink about eight - ten cups a day, now maybe three 🤗 Which is a good thing in my opinion. I also take coq10 for energy in the morning. And take lots of b vitamins and vitamin c. What I need to do is to start exercising more again, I feel a bit paralyzed since I quit a week ago. I usually would go out to smoke a lot and I live in the fifth floor, so I get way less exercise as well. I have gone to the bathroom, but less frequent. And I feel like my whole body is bloated and less dry in a way. Which I believe means I am more hydrated. I think it takes a bit of time before the body starts realizing that it has to push food through after it is not being forced to push through food by the poison anymore. Exercise should help, walking and yoga is my go to ❤
