I am a special education teacher and reading specialist. Trump's speech patterns and thought processes indicate that he probably has some type of learning disability. The fact that he says he does not read and that his advisors commented that he never reads anything is also highly suspicious. Kids with LD that involve reading difficulties hate to read. They look at you like you are about to give them 10,000 volts of electricity if asked to perform any task involving reading. Trump is of the generation where these issues were not talked about or diagnosed. Teachers today are much more aware of signs of LD in grades K, 1 and 2, and even in Pre-K so that early intervention can be started. If kids don't get the help they need, they act out and blame others for their mistakes. They have very short tempers and attention spans, and psychological and emotional problems develop. They cannot stand any criticism. You certainly see these characteristics in Trump.

I was a little tearful on inauguration day 2016. Since then I have forced myself not to think of these types of things. This is the first time I've reminisced.
