As of now, controlling the House requires 218 seats, a number exactly matched by Republicans. However, some MAGA-aligned individuals barely cling to seats once considered secure. If the party fails to distance itself from these embarrassing figures, 2024 could be a humiliating experience despite all the challenges faced. What we truly desire is unity, and this situation is detrimental to the Republicans' image and aspirations.

Today Senator Schumer moved to dismiss the Mayorkas impeachment proceedings. 51 senators agreed to dismiss the impeachment proceedings, 49 senators voted no to dismiss. The House has done what they can pass legislation HR 2 and the investigation to impeachment Sec. Mayorkas. Senator Schumer has stopped these with the support of senators.
