My first thought is that a persons character, long standing beliefs and statements of the type Sharpton has creates an undeniable bias against police. This would make him and people like him (on either side of the political isle) or (either extreme view) a tainted and untrustworthy whiteness on the topic of policing.

Joshua Mcalister Sharpton has certainly shown racial bias. But most of his comments on police however, have been in reference to questionable behavior by police, i.e. Abnar Louima, Ammadou Diablo, Eric Garner, Sean Bell.
