Negan, I just found your channel. Thanks for posting it is helping. I am currently an converting a 66 mustang from an inline six to a v8 289. How are you liking the CSRP brakes?

Hey Negan! Hows it going brother? Looks like a very nice and complete kit and very impressed with the braided lines, bleeder lines for bench bleed, the distribution block etc etc. Yep Kelsey Hayes 4 piston calipers for sure. I just need a kit for my rear drum to disc conversion, 67 came with discs from factory. I did however, totally rebuild the drum brakes early last spring. What bore size is your master cylinder? The smaller size gives you more pressure. Thanks for sharing, Blessings from Michigan.

Hey Robert, good to hear from you. I just finished the install and I’ll upload the video soon. This is a complete kit! I am very impressed with the quality and specs. Everything lined up and every piece was made of quality materials. Not sure about the bore size, I’ll look that up.

What was your decision to not to 4:11 go with a power booster master cylinder? Any regrets? I have manual drum now and they are quite poor. I’m thinking power disc in front and not manual disc.

manual drums will stop the car well if setup correctly. The slide contact pad that the shoes slide on in the drum should be at the proper height and not have any restrictions so the shoes to move freely. I'm make a video on what to look for and how to fix. As for my car, I didn't feel I needed power disks, we are just used to power disks on our current cars and feel we need to stop on a dime every time. Cost is a factor too. If you can afford power, I say go for it. For most guys the jump to manual disk stopping power is so much better than manual drums.
