Hii Andreas, I am actually trying to do eye diagram analysis for a waveguide that works in 8to 12 GHz range frequencies. I am not able to generate a proper eye diagram for it. Can you please explain how should I generate it?

Hi Andreas, Great tutorial! I was wondering if you have any suggestion for my project. I am trying to extract differential impedance value of a differential pin pair of a passive connector. Connector consists of conductors in 6x6 array (0.7mm pitch) with no designated GND pins. All conductors are embedded in a kapton carrier. I randomly picked two pin pairs and tried to extract differential impedance using multiple pin waveguide port (common mode). I have noticed that differential line impedance changes with waveguide port size. Does multi pin waveguide port size have any affect on differential impedance value? Thanks again for a great video.

The size of a waveguide port indeed can affect the impedance calculation if choose too small. The general rule is to choose a size large enough that the fields at the edges of the waveguide port decayed "enough".

Hello, I tried to follow your tutorial and reproduce in CST studio 2023 learning edition, however when I reach the schematic part of the tutorial and I hit P for port or shift + R for a resistor, nothing happens. Those buttons are gray. Also for the other tutorial I don't have the cable menu and the time solver for cables available. Are these the software limitations of the Learning edition or should I reinstall the software?

I think this is a limitation of the learning edition. It does not contain the circuit simulation capabilities :-\
