Genuinely want this turbo, but I’m so far from buying it. Need to fix my alignment problem, then I need HPFP and AP. Then I want to buy a DP and the turbo at the same time so I don’t have to deal with fucking with that area twice because I know it’s a PIA. But this is an amazing turbo, tried and true and IMHO comparable to the S4 and not the S3

While I understand and agree with the principle, the graph @2:25 is a little misleading. On my K04, I was able to retain 280whp at redline, which is a good deal higher than the 225 or so that your graph shows. YMMV, but that's a big difference. Of course, I went to a GT2871 hybrid turbo and far prefer its powerband over the K04. The CST4 is definitely a great option.
