CT Image Quality

Thank you for the best lecture, but i have a question, i am working on simens 16 slice CT scan machin, on this machin i can reconstract from brain ct which aquired by 3 mm thickness into 1.5mm thickness by bone window, what do you say about this ? I just confuse when you say we can not reconstruct from thicker to thinner slice.
