CT Racing, Teixeira Tech Kawasaki KFX450R Project Quad Test

Teixeira Tech and CT Racing built up this project Kawasaki KFX450R to improve the machine overall for recreation or light racing duties. They used their products in addition to products from Pro Armor, OMF, Maxxis, ASV, Fuel Customs, Spider Grips, plus many more.

I xc raced a kfx450r with pro armour nerfs for years with no problems.

They were great quads. Get a new YFZ450R or Raptor 700R before Yamaha stops making em. I am.

in honest opinion for your personal prefrence is the kfx 450 the quad you guys would less recomend??

that just means your installed it incorrectly, the bad part is that they don't give you any directions when you order nerfs thats leaves tons of room for error.... get it done profesionally and you will love pro armor

Do the omf support rings work for the stock wheels that the kfx came with?

These reinforcing rings were not installed on the stock wheels but I am pretty sure OMF can do that for you.

I agree with the pro armor crap. I had their bumper and their nerf bars, hated them all. they broke or bent and all in all were just crap.

Vibrate loose? try some thred lock on your bolts. Overpriced? Almost all of them are overpriced, not just Pro Armor. Quality? Some of the best, regardless of price. We have used Tusk products with good success so far, but keep in mind, if we continuously support China because they are cheap, what jobs will be left in this country? The weaker our economy gets, the more expensive machines and aftermarket products will become.
