Honda has always been the innovator for example the atc 250r atc 200x and 350x and then the 400ex and for a brief run the 700xx..the fastest quad ever produced

Is there a way to upgrade the standard steel tube racks on the XT to the plastic overmolded racks that are on the higher trim levels? Most of the functional rack-based accessories require the plastic overmolded racks. Thanks.

Lone star racing doesn't list a swing arm for a 1985 ATC 250r only an ( $910.00) 1986 -87 TRX and 1988-89 TRX. Also, Lone star racing list an axle for 1986-89 TRX and says you could use it on an ATC 250 but 1986-89 TRX sprocket and sprocket bolts need to be used. Lone star racing doesn't list the sprocket needed. Most of their parts are for TRX

Honda really screwed up when they discontinuing the 250r trx and atc 250r I understand the law suits maybe with the atc 250r but the trx250r should still be with us or bring it back, HONDA

1982 Baja 1000 race with riders Bob me and Wess and other back up racers all celebrated it, but we did not finish do to rider fatigue the two nites before. Mugen powered “Too much fun”, club here at Pismo Beach sand dunes here with Bob and friendly Honda racers.

Need to try and enter this in a short course/MX race and just see how it does against the 450 class bikes. Or even an open class with 4x4s if they do that somewhere.

When the trailing arms came out they were absolutely the best but now they want to go with even longer travel and that’s where they had limitations. The G-3 design has a lot of spillover from the Maverick R engineers, they angle the shocks and arms back towards the front so it kind of acts like the trailing arms with the benefits of a arms. Everyone agrees the newest system works the best, everyone!

Still have the 88 Fourtrax 200 that I bought new, it just works. Course,,, Its had several batteries, tires, coil and a new carb, chain. But she is alive and well and still moves hay and grain every week.

I remember when the 400ex came out, the Raptor660 and the YFZ was a very cool time to be a kid in highschool and have such awesome machines to oogle over. This year I got back into quads after not owning any for the last 10+ years and I love my YFZ450R. I even did a MX 6 race series in MO and got 2nd in the beginner class. Basically a child hood dream to race MX, so allowed me to check something off the bucket list. #SAVESPORTQUADS

As a 13 year old who jumped from a yamaha warrior 350 to a yamaha raptor 700R i think its worth every penny (yes i did buy not daddys money) and it is very responsive and controlible and i got used to it in like a few rides so it is very good in control on trails and stuff but on the road at top speed it did get a little loose but other than that it is a very nice atv and very nice ( it is a 2018)

04 was a little before my time but I do know that polaris and honda offered a 450 and 500 at that time, maybe a little after this quad was introduced. How was the launch of those quads compared to this?
