Man the best coaxial I found was the Recoil audio Mx65 ‘s wish I would’ve bought 4 pair instead of one 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️ they sound amazing in the doors of my 2008 Yukon xl 💯💯 I believe I paid $60 for the pair on Amazon

Honestly I never love coaxial speaker but the vehicle I have is a 15 year old and I don't have much to work with so I have no choice but to use coaxial speaker, I fell in love with the DS18 ZXI-654 6.5 with JBL Club 194T - 3/4" (19mm in the front stage....mannnn....know every day I just want to drive the car.

I just ordered 4 Harmony 8 inch midbass. I hope they turn out to be decent for what I'm doing. I've never really tried to put a SQ system together... Especially, one with so many subs

incorperating a lot of subs into an sq build it tough, but its all about moderating the bass knob.

There's no phase plug included. I have these and the 2-way Mesos but haven't used them. I decided to pick up CDT stuff instead but I haven't installed anything besides deadener into my car. Getting ready to get the car's first oil change/service done. Then I will start working on my build again. I'm trying to figure out how to find enough space in the kick area to make some kick pods instead of using factory door spots. I don't want to remove the factory system and want to run everything separate. The head unit is too integrated into the car and I highly doubt there will be any aftermarket options to replace it, Crutchfield has it labeled as non-replaceable but they only have door speakers on their research sheets. I want to run everything through a DAC or DSD to my AD 68AT DSP but like I said I am trying to find a way to leave the factory components in their place and build the SQ system completely separate without tearing up the interior. I bought used kick panels from eBay junkyard listings but the abs pods I bought to mount to them are too big for the kick panels so I might have to make my own kick pods with 3D printing and fiberglass. work. One unique feature I love about the car is there is no driveline hump down the center of car so the rear seat flooring is completely flat so I am thinking about making a center console extension from the front into the rear bench seat and using that to mount some rear mid-woofers and or 6.5" Meso sub I bought. I have a GP 6.5" box that I could use and frame the console around it and have a tuned sub box built into the console but I haven't decided or came up with a way to make it wrap up to the seat and still able to fold down the seats if need be. Sucks having the family daily as a project but it is better than not having anything to tinker with lol.

the console idea is a total win, also in the kicks, you could run smaller drivers since youll have good midbass from that console. but be sure to get those kick speakers on a 45ish angle to get that soundstage. also consider a pillar tweeters.

@@CarAudioEnthusiasts I have 2 sets of the MX Audio/CDT midwoofers in 6.5, some 2" ES wideband midtweeters and windshield mounted imagining tweeters. Maybe I can do something with the 6.5's in the console with the sub and maybe some 4" in the kicks is a good idea if I can get the rear console to work. Do you think the DSP can get the rear to work for the midbass and mids and highs in the front?

the console is the key to midbass, just cross it up higher, like 80-100hz, with a slower roll off, then cross the kicks down at 110-120 or so

Can you make a video explaining loud speakers rms wattage please. I ask because i have seen some DS18 speakers with 300w rms but not sure if they really can handle that wattage at its price.

hey love your channel, But i have a question : I have a 94 chevy suburban, i just upgraded my speakers to cerwin vega all the way around 4x6 2way coaxial in front behind me is 6.5 3way coaxial in the door and the rear i have 4x10 2way coaxial but i need so pointer on setup a 4 channel amp to them well it work or will i need another amp. total watts 300rms thats 6 speaker not including my subwoofer?

ok, i would get a 5 channel amp, amplify the dash and doors, then add a sub for the 5th channel, leave the rear corner drivers on the rear channels of the stereo.

if you already have a 4 channel, do the same and get a mono channel and sub, or a powered sub
