Hello, first off, Kudos to your presentation and the way you explain things. I recently received my CT-2050 and it seems like it' like trying to take a sip from a fire hose. I am not a welder by profession, I am a Golf cart customizer and repair person. I have taught my self to FCAW and wanted to further my learning on how to weld. This is one of the main reasons for choosing this machine, it does most everything I want to learn!! Some carts are steel frame and others are aluminum. Most of my welding is making custom brackets for sound systems and and side steps /running boards and require very neat welds. The documentation that comes from Yeswelder for this machine I find rather sparse. Your video is a great help. Keep em coming! Cheers and 73. John Holzapfel

Also can it be run without the water seperator on the onboard air as its bulky and looks like a easy to break on the go item for people that are mobile and dont run a cart

Do you have to install the oil water separator if you're using the internal compressor ? ❤

If you don't use it for a long time, it is acceptable to forgo installing an oil-water separator.😊

Awesome video. I did learn a few things from this video. Thank you. I have my welder on order and should receive it next month. I am a total novice beginner welder. Does the welder come with any kind of cheat sheet for the settings? This is for a new hobby hobby for me, to learn a new skill set for personal use on possible projects. I know I will have to go to KZbin University 🤣😎 to learn how to weld. In my area, we are very limited on welding classes. The main class we do have is at the local community college.

You left out how much psi on the regulator for plasma cutting

You can run it around 100 psi .that's one of my favorite things about this welder. And u can run the volt pressure at 100 also. Just try anything, this welder is so good it will weld WHAT Eva your thinking. I hope this answers all you questions. If you have any more, don't ask this guy. just ask .me 😅

Hey Randy! Unfortunately, we do not recommend using a generator to our welders as this will void the warranty.
