I mentioned it in the comments of another channel that the the 5000s (rather than deadheading) should run Express (with limited stops) on the Pink Line, on their way to the Loomis Incline. Starting the run at 54th makes sense, as it is the terminal…though one can argue the Douglass Express should also stop at Cicero, Pulaski, Western, & Polk. Then start its supplemental full run from UIC to Jefferson Park. Make it known to the public in both directions. Call it the Douglass Park/Jefferson Park Limited, where it makes all stops from Jeff Park to UIC, then express limited stops on the Douglass Branch, back to 54th Ave.

@@ChicagolandTransit Why a simple No? If I suggested too many stops along the Pink Line, tell me which should be skipped? What about: stop at Polk, Run express to Western, deadhead to 54th? If anything it would be very useful for those traveling from UIC & Downtown to the U of I medical campus to have a direct stop at Polk.

@@bkark0935Skip-stop service should never be implemented. Think about the Z train in NYC.
