The New CTA: Robust Safety Switch for the Harshest of Conditions
The new safety switch CTA combines the proven principle of operation of electromechanical safety switches with guard locking and modern transponder-coded safety engineering. Thanks to the transponder technology, even a single CTA achieves category 4/PL e according to EN ISO 12849-1 and meets all the requirements of EN ISO 14119. The switch has high degree of protection IP65/IP67 / IP69 / IP69K, guaranteeing maximum safety. With its robust metal housing and a locking force of up to 8,000 N, the CTA is ideally suited to heavy doors and the harshest of environments. Be Industry 4.0-ready with the CTA: in addition to the intelligent communication features that enable users to
connect up to 20 EUCHNER devices in series, the CTA can be connected to an IO-Link Gateway using a smart interface.
