I first heard Bridget through a friend on campus. He was watching her covers and we were all blown away. Sadly, artists like her take so long to be discovered yet we are always complaining of bad music. In this country, some people sweep you off your feet with their music but they are underrated.

I wish Bridget would put an Kenyan or African touch in her songs,it would bring the uniqueness because right now her songs are beautiful.but more American than Kenyan

Nikita does it too and we have never asked her to be African, again African touch is relative, especially in an industry that has not found one voice like our counterparts SA and Nigeria, or TZ. You can tell songs from those countries without looking but in Kenya it's different we are so diverse we necessarily don't have an identity as such.
