Before his pastoral journey, he made a name for himself in the music industry as a Gospel Rapper, earning the moniker "Minister of Righteousness and Truth" (MR T). His music career garnered recognition and awards in the Kenyan music scene.
In addition to his ministry and musical endeavors, Pastor T Mwangi is a successful entrepreneur. He co-owns Berith Insurance Agency and Remnant Group, a media content and concepts development company. As a media personality, he reaches millions of viewers through his Gospel music show, "Angaza Show," which airs on Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC). He also ministers on Realest FM, a community-based radio in Limuru, reaching thousands with his Gospel messages.

It's been a very exciting journey watching and learning from Pastor T. For many years I sang Maisha Finje Finje literally everyday. Sometime last year, I did a search for a pastor who preaches in sheng, given that in my youth, Christians would never allow you to talk about God in sheng. So one of pastor T's videos popped up and I enjoyed listening to him; and I eventually watched several of his videos; never knowing that he was the Mr.T. of Finje Finje. Again, I knew this skinny rapper who called himself A Star. At times I would ask myself where he disappeared to; only for the revelation to be made that indeed, he is the one responsible for Cleaning The Airwaves. Previously, it was just this voice in the dark; ay times very stubborn, but handling musicians with such a sense of familiarity, and I kept wondering who is this character? Thanks a lot for the great job you are doing, and thanks a lot Pastor T for sharing your life. You are super hilarious and some of the experiences in your life were just super comical; like that thing of your friend rapping with a sufuria, dog chain, padlock...your naughty childhood. You were also kind enough to openly speak about your weaknesses and moments when took a slide; and how you got back on the tracks. I've never met another person who is as committed to teaching scripture as Pastor T. May you succeed in your mission.

The most amazing part is that Pastor T does not have the word NO in his vocabulary when it comes to the WORD OF GOD. I met him once and we sat down for over 2 hours whereby he literally spoke sense into my head, transformed me from plotting to murder fraudsters who had swindled me huge amounts of money to looking for those individuals and forgiving them. The first time i saw Mr. Tee was a Uthiru Girls Secondary school where they had come to preach. I was impressed to say the least. I remember when he took to the stage he started by saying that that night he was not there to make friends but rather at the end of that sermon he wouldl have more enemies than friends and i was like, this is interesting, I would like to see more of this guy. Many years down the line, I'm not suprised where he is right now. I wish i joined him when the Lord asked me to. First time watching your channel. Thoroughly enjoyed watching the entire interview and wow my life has changed, I'm so inspired to never give up! I honestly thought rap artists were not serious individuals (forgive me) and I also put gospel rap in that category because I would see rap artists in the west either ended up in prison or dead (Biggie, Tupac, E-zi-E etc). I was misinformed. No wonder Pastor T was advised to try a different style because rap wouldn't reach everyone. So much respect now for the industry. Shalom❤.
