How do you know where to put the vee in your bridge when you place your hand on the table? What line is your bridge on?

I never had a aiming system I just learned how to drop down on the line of sight. By hours of practice.

Review my series of videos and others online and you could get a good understanding of the concept. Then just apply it at the pool table. It took me 3 months just to understand the very basics!

It Will be very helpful if you had a camera over your head to show the pivot from left edge of the q to the rt edge off the object ball.

OK. Your CTE is fairly different than Stan Shuffett's or any other version I have seen. From minute 5 through 7 and a half you show the ABC and 1/8 marks as facing the pocket. In many videos I have watched, the ABC and 1/8 cuts are always facing the Cue ball. Also, you say many times for an A shot, 15 degree perception, to the left the left edge of the cue ball should go the right edge of the object ball. You say something similar for the next shot talking about a B shot, somewhere around 7 minutes. I was under the impression that the edge went to the letter ABC and the center was aimed toward the edge. As you aim through the ball half a tip off line, you are aiming at the letter, then pivot to center. Hmm, Going back to the letter issue of facing the ball or facing the pocket, if you could visualize an A, B or C facing the pocket instead of the Cue ball, that may be the real shot line with a half tip pivot that was Hal Houle's Point and Pivot system. Last point in general about CTE observations. All of the people that show CTE versions seem to pick natural natural 15, 30 or 45 degree angles, which will work perfectly for all CTE examples or are fairly close to a pocket which allows for a huge margin for error. I am very curious to your response.

Why do you have to pivot why you visualize and hit cue in center
@howardberger36768 ай бұрын
Its a manual pivot,meaning that you can move right to CCB and shoot and no need to pivot..this is more a traditional style

The cte only works on corner shots and straight or not so acute angle side shots? Every video I've seen everyone focuses on corner shots. Every system no more than six shots in the side per video. While shooting pool myself the most missed shots in pool is side shots. So if you could please make a video that is composed of mostly side shots please.

Not true! Pls watch my other video's if you haven't seen them. There are over a 100 out there with all kinds of cut angles. The corner shots are good as it shows more of the angles.

Once again Howard for all of these shots your doing for example left edge cue ball to right edge object ball 1/2 tip and shoot, we can just forget about the left edge stuff and just go right to the 1/2 tip offset aim at the 1/8 spot and shoot, its the same effect correct? Thankyou

Hi Howard, thanks for such an informative video. but when you say "line up" the shot, do you mean lining up the centre of the cue ball/lining up your body with the shot/lining up the edge of the cue ball? And also, can i do the shots without any sweeps? just regular CCB to ABC, or should it be a pivot from ECB -- A/B/C towards the centre CB? Would really help alot! Thanks.
@howardberger36766 жыл бұрын
Lining up the shot , hitting CCB, moving into the shooting stance and hitting A, B, C lines (on the OB) depending on the angle. After some long term practice, you can shoot without pivoting or sweep, although I do recommend both when the angle is sharp or 1/8 hits.

I have been watching your videos and I am wondering is when visualizing the “b” line do you do it through the center of the ob to center pocket? Or is it done through the center of the CB through center OB?
@howardberger36766 жыл бұрын
When aiming your focus in on the OB. I don't even look at the pocket....the CB is always hit center ball (and maybe slightly left or right for English).
