Wow! Glad you had so much fun with it! I've done it with Lord of the Horde once, but this definitely takes the cake as being way more of a spectacle! And since Abathur gets Omega Worms, it's much easier spreading creep around and for Abathur to detect enemies. One thing that you can do is transport locusts around with the Omegas as well, if you ever need to be extra safe. Obviously with the short Deep Tunnel, the Hosts themselves don't really need it, but a few worms dumping your entire Swarm Host army's supply of locusts could be fun.

Fleshwelder is much better then lord of the horde. 0.64 attackspeed hovertanks. They become a high speed deletestack!

There is another bug with Dehaka P2, when Dehaka get in an allied nydus worm, you can summon all primal leaders at the same time and also use to dehaka :D

I commented on a previous youtube video, I think fun commander combos is a really good idea for a series. Also just curious, if you arent using the ultimate evolutions why not go p1 abathur for even more biomass? Fun video!

P2 has the better locusts. Sure they lose out on the +25% dps, but the vastly increased uptime(Duration, Movement Speed, and Range) more than makes up for it, since you’ll get much more dps density

P2 is better for Swarm host comp despite the biomass. However not the same can be said about ravagers and roaches, with P1 they are crazy good.

One wise guru among the Chinese sc2 coop community once said: swarm hosts are like portable gateways that produces 2 dragoons for free every few seconds. I totally agree. Abathur is the real protoss, not only does he have the golden armada (max bio mass air really looks golden), he's got portable dragoon factories, he's also got ravagers which can rain down solar bombardment whenever you need them to.

Recently i've had fun mission when i was p1 alarak with p1 kerri. Just need few ascedants to sacrifice suplicants and wraithwalkers as became bonkers, highly recommend checking it out. Also is there any possibility that you would be revisiting more of a basic guides for commanders? I know sc2coop exists but i would love to get your take if there are any new strategies to lvl casually(so no karax/mengsk cheese because random allies) and if there are any prestiegies that you would adivise for lvling. I love when I'm Abathur & get Kerrigan ally, especially Malevolent - then you get both Super Creep & Omega. Had last such game on 'No Money, More Problems'! against Sky Toss & it was so good that I actually recorded it, although I usually don't have a custom of publishing mutation that already expired or are about to expire! By the way, I didn't quite observe do Swarm Hosts produce Locusts faster or not, but I thing they should!

A year late, but yeah they do. I think at full biomass and p1 kerrigan, it's like every 4 or 5 seconds per spawn. It's a bit silly, nothing short of hero units can last more than a couple of seconds.

You can ignore the expansion early on to get Swarm Hosts out much earlier. You should be capable of having at least 2 swarm hosts out by 4 mins 15 with tunneling and air attack upgrades in the que before 5:30, Possibly faster if you try hard. You don't need to rely on your teammate, you can contribute decently well even early on.

I always play Abathur with only swarm hosts :D it's a lot of fun and I can get three swarm hosts out for the first attack wave and objective with the right build order

@@Way2MuchFlava P2 It's important to put the points in Power Set 3 into Morph Rate or else it doesn't work 14 Overlord 14 2x Extractor 22 Roach Warren 22 Lair 22 Overlord 22 Infestation Pit 21 3x Swarm Hosts Then get expansion and soon Hive for upgrade to hit air (important on void launch) Not good against void rifts It is an unrefined build and has some issues but it works

You can think of each maxed out locust as a Nova’s marine. A bit less dmg and range but tankier and have more heal. Ofc, with Kerrigan p1 they’d be better tho.

Personally I like p1 kerrigan becos it's so good for her regen. Sure spreading creep is a pain but don't we also do that in hots campaign anyways for the move speed bonus for not getting caught out of the attack waves?

Not with p1. The area of each tumor is do big and the spread is so fast, you can actually see on the minimap exactly wich tumor is active and when it is ready

If you're gonna Stukov it, I think Frightful Fleshwelder would be the way to go. The increased attack speed on Diamonbacks, Liberators, and Banshees would be absurd. Especially Diamondbacks, since they're already absurd.
