This strat was thought to only be faster online, but now it’s over two seconds faster lol. Even though it may not seem like it, I’ve poured hours on this track trying to get 3:10. Even with the missed mt l2, I still think it deserves an upload. I loved this category when I played it, and I highly recommend it to others (crazy how no one else is faster than hintz). Also, I don’t think this run should undermine hintz’s run at all because I know he worked hard on it and his run definitely deserves to be a bkt in my eyes. I just like magi too much to pass up haha

If this is considered no glitch, then the CM no ultra route is also no glitch, BC spiral skip is no glitch, and bc3 ramp shortcuts are no glitch. It’s not exactly consistent to include any non ultra glitch in a no glitch category.

It’s no shortcut because the shortcut category hasn’t been made lol. Obviously if this were an rt you could just update the no shortcut rules on the players page, but it’s not. I asked not too long ago about adding a shortcut category to a track but probably bot being implemented very soon

@@bosushii just because it isn’t automatically done on CTGP doesn’t mean you can’t make the decisions logically on whether a new WR is no shortcut or not though

@@Kierio04 Obviously you can, but it doesn’t really change the fact that this is currently no shortcut. I don’t really know why you keep having to comment that this would be a shortcut category. Everyone has eyes; we can tell.

@@bosushii I’m aware that some people obviously can see the illogical category name but there are clearly others (if you read all the comments) that are completely fine with this staying as no glitch. Sure the leaderboards haven’t been update to reflect the fact that it’s a new category, but the leaderboards are just a means of sorting runs using already existing rules. Those rules, whether they have been applied to the filter system yet or not, should always be applied to the WR videos

Who is making the rules? The "rules" have not been applied because they don't exist. This is a ct. There isn't a forum where you can have the community come out and say that this strat should no longer be regarded as no shortcut, nor would it matter. The purpose of this channel is to upload the records of their respective categories. The videos should always be reflective of what it is marked as on chadsoft, as it is CTGP records. Doing anything else would be misleading. If you believe that this should be shortcut, that's fine, I agree with you. But that doesn't mean that the title of the video, which is the same as on chadsoft, should be changed just because we think so. On regs, I feel it would probably be alright, but as this is a ct and the same resources for regs don't exist for them, it would be too confusing to do otherwise. Unless requested by the person who set the run, I guess.

how is this not a glitch? you literally go oob, drive under the track, and go through a wall. and by glitch i do not mean ultra i mean glitch. it should not be labelled as no glitch, in rta terms im pretty sure this would be called shortcut and then the old no glitch would be no shortcut now. categories aside this is an amazing run for first wr on a new strat

Chadsoft only detects two methods by default, glitch, which is skipping kcp's, and no-glitch. Bean has to manually add shortcut categories, which this would be considered.

Changed it now because I agree with you. I put it like that just bc that’s how CTGP puts it and to not confuse people with the actual ultra category.
