We love this game. My son picked it up at a FLGS, then we went back a week later and grabbed Season 2, then we hunted down the Unspeakable Box. And the comics arrived last week. My wife and I were not convinced until we played it. So much insane fun. The kind of embedded narrative you make up as your character run about is great!

Can really see the DNA of Arkham Horror in this game. It just takes it to another level. Just wish the board spaces were bigger to better hold all the content.

Really like the idea of your “campaign mode” challenge: Get through all Episodes, loosing the characters that go insane/die along the way. Do you advise using different Elder Gods for each episode or stick with one for all episodes if playing the “alex campaign mode”?

My favourite dungeon crawler (for now)! 90% of the games were decided on the two last or the very last turn. Intense af. Replayed all missions with my gf a billion times and I am currently waiting for the season 2 to come to Brazil... Hopefully.

Such a fun game! Do you always play two-handed? It is a great idea as these characters have those individual abilities. I hope you are going to play more games! And blank sides of dice are not only the stares from the pit of hell, they are the faces of students when you try to teach them history! Keep up the fantastic work!

When playing two players we play two-handed. I like this game best with three or four characters in the game

7:40 at this moment you would have 3 enemies at the top with your character, and you forgot to roll for damage, so the game would've ended in a loss after a while from that point probably, since Al barely survives later on.

Sleeve kings, and I like sleeving...but you don't always need to.

Great playthrough! I really wanted to get this game but I then realized you have to place heart tokens on enemies. Which I find dated and tedious, one of the reasons I couldn't keep playing Descent: Journeys in the Dark. Is it that fiddly?

We love love love this game! Your campaign mode is intriguing and we might give it a go (though we're nearly done with the base box content). Are you playing with all of the investigators (Base, Season 2, Unspeakable?)

If you guys are playing this through for patreon, would it be possible to get at least one of the lost episodes on the regular channel? It’s real tough to judge if they are worth it or not when looking at the unspeakable box. There is virtually no content for them out there.

Got this a couple months ago per your recommendation! We finally beat this scenario this past Sunday on our 3rd attempt, and were pretty disappointed that there was no epilogue of any sort. Did we miss something? Is it referenced at all in the following scenario? I get it’s not a story-driven game, but after finally beating Cthulhu, it was pretty disappointing that there’s absolutely nothing in-game to acknowledge our efforts.

Yeah I sadly it's not campaign, it's episodic. So you basically just play each scenario, there is a general template of what's happening, But not much else.

With this game it's better with 4 characters, Lots of these games "dungeon crawlers" are better with 4 characters if playing with 2 people.

I feel that there are better missions in season 2 but there are a LOT of monsters, many of which are only used once as there are only 6 missions.

Lots of fun. Please play higher level missions. There are no playthroughs of most of the missions. Also I dare you to defeat dogan. He was really hard and we lost the 3 times we faced him.
