I was so impressed by this video, I went out and got a TM248 wheel setup and forzia 5. I have been wanting to play the horizon series anyway coming from Playstation to PC, I was finally able to. Anyway, after trying to drift on the 900* wheel and never having played on a racing sim, I found it extremely difficult, Especially on a RWD car to drift, race, everything. I found more of your videos explaining how to drift, using lighter pressure on the acceleration, clutch kick, etc. It has been very helpful, and after about 3 months now of casual practice your Mazda rx7 tune and lowering my wheel rotation to 360 I have been able to get decent at it. Only issue is the stupid paddle shifters attached to the wheel and the handbrake button on my wheel too. I need to upgrade. Hopefully I can get better at the 900 wheel rotation but for now it still seems impossible. Thanks fir your help, your videos are awesome. 🍻 👏

How does all that simulation drifting transfer to real drifting? I’ve became pretty damn good at drifting with the controller on manual settings I’d say I now understand the basics of why and when an engine needs to switch gears up/down (ive always drivin automatic in real life, my dad never took the proper time to teach me and didn’t have patience to keep teaching me but as an adult now there’s no excuse other than not having a manual as of right now lol but soon!) car games like forza have pioneered a way to keep the beauty of feeling and knowing your engine and teaching a good intro into the basics of stick shifting now that manual transmission is slowly dying😢 I will soon upgrade to a Logitech setup and transfer everything I’ve learned to the wheel! Sweet driving by the way can’t wait to drift like that one day

Yeah the buttons have added about 20% weight to the wheel, it's not as smooth to rotate but at the same time the added weight feels pretty good
