Mobenthey and synthmall.com, visits Control to discuss his handmade SHTAR, the Cocoquantus, aspects of his programming language SHLISP and Fish, the solar powered Tocante series, jazz and other inspirations. Shot on location at Control, a synthesizer brick & mortar shop located in the South Williamsburg Neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY.

This reminds me of the great BBC-produced kids’ sci-fi of the 1970s - _Doctor Who, Blake’s 7,_ but above all _The Tomorrow People_ - and Peter Blasser would be the eccentric genius the kids encounter at the climax, in the Tau Ceti system, who alone can save Earth but doesn’t yet know it.

Suddenly the interface of the CocoQuantus makes perfect sense. Definitely a genius at work, but if it was really 'work', he'd probably stop immediately. So it must be something natural.
