CTS Turbo Downpipe Install on this Audi S3 Similar to The VW Golf R This is a Catalytic Converter

Today We are Installing a CTS Turbo downpipe This is the one that is equipped with a Catalytic converter, we are installing this on a 2015 Audi S3, which is like a VW Golf R.
Between having to move the driveline and having to lower the subframe, if this is your first time, plan on this taking you 3-4 hours to complete.
CTS Turbo makes a great quality product, there was a small fitment issue, however this was far less than other manufactures.

It doesn’t fit we’ll because you put the cat in the wrong section. The portion of line with the bend goes on after the downpipe/bell mouth, and the cat section goes after, connecting to factory resonator (or res delete). I know, I had it setup the same way before I clamped anything down and then looked at CTS online instructions for pics, as well as images off Google, then I realized my mistake lol. This was years ago when I had my S3, and when I sold it and bought my newer 2019 golf R I made sure to not make same mistake in order. 👌🏻

What if you cut the stock downpipe in half where the secondary cat is?

Did you use the j style o2 spacer? Which insert did you use and did you have a CEL light?

No, the cat is after the o2 sensors

Yeah, but they need to jack up the car. I'd go with the cat on OE spot.
