Agreed! Really there is no power gains, you may even lose 1 or 2 HP from the heat soak. But the sound makes the driving experience better which makes it worth it to me!

@@UnworthyMotors I would highly appreciate that & I’m sure there’s others who would too as I haven’t seen much on these. I totally feel that man. Certain mics barely pic up anything, while others do a pretty decent job. Surprisingly, the video I have of my buddy doing a medium pull in his 6mt F80 with Injens was recorded on an iPhone with open windows & sounds amazing. Have you heard any other intake setups on the S55 in person?

All good! No tuning needed or anything. As long as you still have your MAF sensor you are good

How do these compare to the SSR ones (not front mounted) in regards to sound, fitment, and reliability?

I’m sure they are very similar. Assuming they are both the same open box style, they are really just piping and a filter. The only ones that would provide difference is a front mount pulling in more cold air which will perform better. This is a simple part and reliability isn’t really a topic. Can’t speak to fitment on ssr

@@walter2506 should be very infrequent cleanings, but these can just be sprayed out and then blow water out with air and ensure they are 100% dry before installing again

I did not, make sure your MAF is in properly. Run the code with a code reader and see what it’s saying the code issue is

Yes, tuned to stage 2+ with no issues. You do not need to be tuned to run the intakes though. They are pretty standard

@@marcosmarquez2926 this should not impact that at all. The mass air flow sensor is the only thing system wise that could be impacted. Ensure that is not damaged.
