For sure. Tons of bro knowledge..but whatever he did worked for him. CT was so into the interview that he lots a lof of the bro stuff fly hehe.. That is respect for you. Why knock it if it worked for the name. I giggled when CT started talking about doing 'back arms' too. hehe. In the beginning of the interview, he would clarify when Monson would say, 'backarms'. But then CT started saying it himself. The hood came rushing back to CT. hehe

You people must be really stupid: This Craig Monson dude seems like a cool guy. Regarding his physique in his prime biggest state: Either one of the two the following scenarios actually happened: A): He developed the world biggest muscular physique with almost no body fat and he did it totally naturally without ever using gear making him the greatest bodybuilder of all time: OR: B) He had ACCESS to/and/or USED gear either before or after he came out of prison as this is when his body building contest photos were taken thereby matching the chronological time period in which he built his physique betwen 1973 and 1988. (The actual photos are shown in this video). All of you should ask yourselves the following question in your minds: WHICH SCENARIO IS MORE PROBABLE - A OR B?

I've never done any heavy weight type training but always worked in factories doing heavy work since about the same age of 15 and i'm 37 now. My lower back is a mess and my hips and knees and feet hurt everyday. If I had been lifting it might even be worse. One of my good friends lifted heavy and blew out some discs in his back. He's in a lot of pain all the time so not sure it was worth it and even he says he should of been smart about it. He was absolutely the most MASSIVE guy I've ever seen, just jaw dropping!!! When I was done doing my routine I couldn't wait to get back into the audience to see him pose, the MC introduced him and the stage was totally dark, the music started I think it was music from The Ten Commandments, suddenly you heard the loudest thump of him stepping up on the platform and the people in the audience was just like WTF??? The stage lights suddenly came on and it was just him standing they're doing a double bicep, the crowd went mental just roaring at the top of their lungs cheering, the man was truly a monster!!!

I had more oh your on steroids arguments than you can imagine even my mother wanted me to take a steroid test and my genetics were nothing special. No regrets because no juice 10 meals a day and plenty of rest. Wow. As a former power lifter I use to bench over 500lbs, squat over 700lbs, and deadlift more than the bars could hold. I could lift rear ends of trucks and would harness to a jeep wrangler and run 40 yard sprints. That was in high school. I got stronger in college. Now at just 39 if i knew then what i know now i wouldn't have gone so heavy. Arthritis in my ankles, elbow, knee pain, tendinitis... it honestly wasn't worth it. Everybody who knows me wonder why I never pushed my sons to do it. Because I dont want them in pain. Great interview.

It's like two uncles at a BBQ talking. I can only imagine what it must have been like for a young and up coming CT to see Craig Munson in person. People usually associate the era of mass monsters starting with Dorian Yates. So before him, seeing huge guys who are 260+ and still cut must have been a sight.

Man you just inspired me to do 3 plate tricep kickouts eventually. I have spent 20 years torqueing bolts on heavy diesel engines and trucks. This would make me the king of all heavy diesel mechanics! I'm currently 250lbs 5'11".

Peder Hansen Monson was a bodybuilder not power lifter said he weighed a lean 275-285lb. Easily could weigh mid 300’s. Repping 500x10 in the early 80’s is no joke. If he power lifted he could’ve competed with Kazmeier.

Honestly this is the best/most informative video and entertaining and I love listening to old folks just talk and talk and tell stories and wisdom of their past. Reminds me of my grandpa just telling stories for hours just like this. 10/10 recommend this video to anyone who lifts
