For sure. Tons of bro knowledge..but whatever he did worked for him. CT was so into the interview that he lots a lof of the bro stuff fly hehe.. That is respect for you. Why knock it if it worked for the name. I giggled when CT started talking about doing 'back arms' too. hehe. In the beginning of the interview, he would clarify when Monson would say, 'backarms'. But then CT started saying it himself. The hood came rushing back to CT. hehe

You people must be really stupid: This Craig Monson dude seems like a cool guy. Regarding his physique in his prime biggest state: Either one of the two the following scenarios actually happened: A): He developed the world biggest muscular physique with almost no body fat and he did it totally naturally without ever using gear making him the greatest bodybuilder of all time: OR: B) He had ACCESS to/and/or USED gear either before or after he came out of prison as this is when his body building contest photos were taken thereby matching the chronological time period in which he built his physique betwen 1973 and 1988. (The actual photos are shown in this video). All of you should ask yourselves the following question in your minds: WHICH SCENARIO IS MORE PROBABLE - A OR B?

from Mr Monson's website, "Archie who at the time lived in Madrid Spain was visiting Venice Beach when he had spotted Monson working out. He then sent Craig an itinerary along with performance enhancement supplements to use along with the other performing enhancing drugs that Monson had started taking from a well-known bodybuilding doctor in Los Angeles. Monson followedArcie's instruction to the tee.

I've never done any heavy weight type training but always worked in factories doing heavy work since about the same age of 15 and i'm 37 now. My lower back is a mess and my hips and knees and feet hurt everyday. If I had been lifting it might even be worse. One of my good friends lifted heavy and blew out some discs in his back. He's in a lot of pain all the time so not sure it was worth it and even he says he should of been smart about it. I respect the grind though I wish I could pick shit up and put shit down like these guys.

I remember back in 1985 I did my first bodybuilding show in Tucson Az, Craig Monson was the guest poster and he was in his prime. He was absolutely the most MASSIVE guy I've ever seen, just jaw dropping!!! When I was done doing my routine I couldn't wait to get back into the audience to see him pose, the MC introduced him and the stage was totally dark, the music started I think it was music from The Ten Commandments, suddenly you heard the loudest thump of him stepping up on the platform and the people in the audience was just like WTF??? The stage lights suddenly came on and it was just him standing they're doing a double bicep, the crowd went mental just roaring at the top of their lungs cheering, the man was truly a monster!!!

GREAT WATCHING!!! This is like history class for me. I am watching and learning of the greats who laid the foundation. There are so many who we don't know about but their stories are just as equally important as those who made it big. SALUTE!!

Love the honesty sergio lost 30 pounds ... much respect!!! No bullshit there!!! I trained HEAVY from 15 to 22 years old no drugs.... no pain at all now because I lifted what my natural body could handle 550 deadlift 350 bench 500 squat behind the neck press 275 for 6 reps straight bar curl 225 for reps body weight 230 pounds by no means cut 19 1/2 inch arms ice cold at 19 years old. I had more oh your on steroids arguments than you can imagine even my mother wanted me to take a steroid test and my genetics were nothing special. No regrets because no juice 10 meals a day and plenty of rest. I often wonder what I would have looked like on some anadrol at 19, 21 inche arms maybe and 270 pounds Well I'll never know but I'm healthy as hell at 49, you youngsters dont juice! I'm so glad I stayed natural you dont need that garbage to grow, time goes by and you will get old

Wow. As a former power lifter I use to bench over 500lbs, squat over 700lbs, and deadlift more than the bars could hold. I could lift rear ends of trucks and would harness to a jeep wrangler and run 40 yard sprints. That was in high school. I got stronger in college. Now at just 39 if i knew then what i know now i wouldn't have gone so heavy. Arthritis in my ankles, elbow, knee pain, tendinitis... it honestly wasn't worth it. Everybody who knows me wonder why I never pushed my sons to do it. Because I dont want them in pain. Great interview.

It's like two uncles at a BBQ talking. I can only imagine what it must have been like for a young and up coming CT to see Craig Munson in person. People usually associate the era of mass monsters starting with Dorian Yates. So before him, seeing huge guys who are 260+ and still cut must have been a sight.

Peder Hansen Monson was a bodybuilder not power lifter said he weighed a lean 275-285lb. Easily could weigh mid 300’s. Repping 500x10 in the early 80’s is no joke. If he power lifted he could’ve competed with Kazmeier.
