@@intenselifter5538 yeah I know, just checking if you as intense as you say, good deadlift bro ! Thats like 305 kilos, huh ? I only tried deadlifting like five times 15 years ago, at 17 I did 420 for 2 sets of 15 by the fifth workout but I never trained for powerlifting, so Im excactly the opposite of you, more of a good bencher, curler, one~arm chinup guy , but if I trained the deadlift I probably would have been okey at that too, but I respect the hell outta a 600 plus deadlifter, ive been around a handful of them and know what it takes ! You certainly earned your nick in my book, and cool of you to answer brother in iron

This motivates me a lot. I've had two open heart surgeries and was not allowed to do any physical sports or activities. I took advantage of that and became lazy and weak. In 2012 at and age of 25 I said 'fuck this' and started lifting. Dropped 56 lbs of flab using silly ass high rep exercises with dumbells, then became serious about heavy lifting about 7 months ago. Since then I've added at least 100 lbs to each of my big 3 lifts, and the heart doctor was incredibly impressed by how healthy my heart is after doing this. Don't push yourself to death, but don't use it an excuse to be a bitch either.

I am glad I am not the only one that saw that because I had to reverse the video 6 times because I thought it was a glitch in the video but like WTF was that? CT is absolutely correct about how you get big. You get big and strong by working your fucking ass off in the gym. Personally I just work out to stay fit not to get so big I walk like a corncob is up my ass. And you don't necessarily have to be muscles showing like CT to be strong because Paul Anderson sure was not muscle bound. Tendons and bone strength mean a whole hell of a lot when it comes to human strength. There are some people that are born with natural strength already programmed in to their DNA. I have my Father's DNA and when my father was 11 years old it was nothing for him to throw a 100 lb sack of feed over each shoulder and go to walking with it. CT has the DNA to get big and strong, so not everybody no matter how much they work out and eat right will get the size and strength CT has and if anyone tells you different then they are a liar. Just like not every guy is going to grow to the height of 7 foot! Genes folks. Genes! That is if you do it the natural way, you will only get as far as your genes will allow you to.
