CTTOYS Gohan Beast - Third Party Figuarts - Headswaps and Comparisons!

Hey folks, Deano here, this time by subscriber demand, a quick look at if headswaps work between the official Gohans and the CTTOYS clone version!

The skin tone and the lack of matte finish on the KO unfortunately makes it obvious. But glad to see that the Bandai pieces do fit, albeit not perfectly. Thanks for this.

Honestly those things are nowhere near as noticeable in person, thats just the studio lights highlighting it lol. Tbh its not as noticeable as the official 3.0 ssj Gokus chest is!

Is the skin tone difference huge between ct toys and the ultimate gohan figure

Nowhere near as noticeable as on camera, bright harsh lights always show up every little detail lol. I personally have one of the bodies with the ssj head from gamma 2 and it looks fine imo.

Do you think the cttoys legs could fit on an official? superhero Gohan torso?

Possibly, but not sure why you'd want to? Tbh the legs are the weakest part of the figure lol.

@@BigDeanoReviews I lost the legs of an shf Gohan but I have his torso and arms in good condition, so I was planning on using superglue to tighten the leg joints on the bootleg legs as a replacement

@@mlgpapas1319 Ah gotcha. Well it might work, like I showed the neck peg is slightly smaller so id have to assume the other pegs are aswell. Honestly though if you're buying it for that you'd be aswell just using the full figure lol, imo the overlay look is much cleaner than the standard body and its thin enough that, unlike the official beast gohan, the articulation isnt hindered in any way!

I got mine from ali express, overall id say if you dont have the original then this is a decent replacement! I wont be reviewing the dragon stars one im afraid, its not available in the UK yet iirc and even if it was im not really in the habit of buying multiples of figures I already have better versions of, sorry!

One problem with the third party is it has NO battle damage.😢

I mean, thats kind of subjective. I personally think its cool he doesnt have battle damage lol, makes him unique next to the official one. There will come a time where we see beast in action with no damage, thats my thoughts on it.

Yep! Apart from the custom go its a straight clone of beast Gohan, their faces are identical to beast/ultimate Gohan.
