So, you have never had stories told to you by family members that have later proven to be inaccurate? HAH!!! My mother told me on several occasions that she thought her grandmother was part Indian (the designation at the time) because she looked the part, on a picture, while sitting in a rocking chair outdoors and smoking a pipe. And, she definitely looked the part. HOWEVER, my siblings an I took DNA tests and there is NOT one drop of indigenous blood. Just goes to show that relatives recount stories that we accept as true but are not 100% accurate. JUDGE NOT........
