Awesome video! I have read your CU book and purchased your video set. So far my border collie and I have been working on "Mat work, look at that, reorienting to me, and massage" and he is really doing better! Thanks! I will keep it up as I can tell it will work.

Do you stop giving treats at any point. I am not a fan of carrying a bag of treats on walks and seen people being surrounded by oncoming dogs that would love some as well... and worse causing dog fights.

Great question. She was skillful at moving away from the dog and its handler, even though they were moving toward Leslie and her pack. Handler must have moved on with his dog.

Same question. The dogs are clearly food seeking and waiting or asking for treats. One of the complaints in food reward training is “he only does it if he knows I have food.”

@@betsycambareri5775 if the dog only does it when the handler has food, that’s just poor training. Another thing - just because I may have food on me doesn’t mean they’re getting any - not unless desired behavior is marked. Always amusing that some people don’t mind having to punish a dog forever but carrying food to reward good behavior is a sin. 🤷♀️ I do agree that the dogs could have been ignored a bit to get to sniffing etc but hard to tell what the goal was without some voiceover or something.
