What was all that banging when you engaged the PTO?

I'm not 100% sure. Doesn't do that every time. I know with the haban decks they seem to bog it down at first start, but then it's fine after that.

Mine did this when the fuel pump was failing, it just couldnt produce enough power to stay running. I replaced it but still needed a little extra and so added a cheap electric priming pump that runs only when the starter is turning. Now i can hit the PTO with the engine at part throttle then increase it without any drama.
