I've got the same machine. I bought it last year and had never owned one before. It throws the snow as far as I want to throw it and cuts through the snow with relative ease. The only problem I had was with the compacted snow I had been driving over. I recently got it out ready for winter and it started up with one pull after sitting for the last 10 or 11 months. I'm extremely happy with this snow blower. I've also changed a lot of shear pins due to having had a dirt driveway and they're easy. Thanks for the video entertainment!

I have an 8 year old 24", 5 HP, MTD blower I bought new for $500. I replaced the belts last year only as a $20 precaution. This year I bought a brand new carburetor on line for $17 instead of rebuilding one.. I live in Massachusetts and have a 80 foot 2 car driveway and 60 feet of walkways. I have no idea how man tons of snow it has blown. but it's a bunch more than these guys showing off their $3000 Honda's.

Word of advice, do your research before purchasing any 3-stage snow blower. Especially, if you are dealing with heavy wet snow. They tend to clog often and are not nearly as efficient as a quality 2 stage snow blower. Toro and Ariens do well in heavy wet snow. Heck, even the very expensive track drive Honda's have a tendency to clog in heavy wet snow. If you are dealing with the heavy wet stuff, 14 in. auger and impeller intake systems are the way to go to move any type of snow effectively. Toro Power Max HD and high end Ariens as well as Cub Cadet 2X series snow blowers are much better options when it comes to blowing wet snow. I am sure there are others that can move heavy wet snow. From all the research I have done, 3 stage snow blowers are just not as efficient and tend to clog and break sheer pins more often. I was looking at them, but after all my research I decided to go with a Toro HD 1232, 2 stage machine. A few weeks back, I spent over two hours blowing in 6 inches of extremely wet heavy snow. As wet and heavy as the snow was, I could still launch the snow over 30' with no trouble. And never once did the machine clog or show any signs of doing so. Toro's anti clog system is no joke, it works as advertised.

Sweet blower man! I love that chute control! I'm really sick of cranking mine back and forth twice for each pass (down and back) to keep it blowing in the down-wind direction. That controller you have would be SO MUCH NICER than mine. Cub Cadet is a quality product too brah. If treated well and properly maintained, it will outlast you and I.

I would like it too, But instead I just start in the middle with the chute pointing right so I don't have to adjust it,

Thanks for throwing up the video. I live in Missouri where we get moderate snow so I bought a top of the line craftsman single stage & just hate the wear bar system on the bottom. I went through 3 last year & screwed up the bottom. I take care of 5 elderly couple's driveways & just need something with some balls. My knee sucks & the single stage just kicks my ass with 6" or more. How is this with 3" of snow? how close to the pavement does it get? I do like a nice clean drive I'd appreciate any help before I plunk down the money, Ken

PWM (pulse width modulation) it's how you dim LED lights. The voltage is turned on and off rapidly to give the illusion that the lights are dimmed. You eye can't see the light pulse, but the camera picks it up.

Why does everyone care how big the snowblower is to the size of my property? I've used it on 3 to 4 houses on my block. I help neighbors that can't do it or when their cars are buried. It gets used. Everyone acts like money is an issue for everyone. I guess people can't afford nice things and if you can you shouldn't buy them. Why buy a Bentley when a Honda gets you to where you got to go.

Do You get snow buildup in the chute and have a hard time moving the chute with the controler ???i having some issues with mine same snowblower
@bradcharlton936210 жыл бұрын
I would take a single stage Toro about 10 years old ahead of that Cub Cadet any day. (And I have owned Cub Cadets and don't dislike them.) But single stage blowers mostly propel themselves (on a light snowfall, I can literally jog up the driveway with them as they work). And they are FAR more maneuverable than a two stage blower like this one.
@wileecoyote57493 жыл бұрын
It's a 3 stage. Pay attention
@aaronsbarker10 жыл бұрын
Sorry dude, you got ripped off by flashy "tech". That 3rd stage is horse sh*t. It actually make things worse. 1. Yes, it has a pitch to the blades that is supposed to draw the snow in, but it's massively inefficient because anything it catches is thrown away (sideways) by centrifugal forces before it can get drawn into the rear impeller. 2. The side augers can no longer pull the snow all the way to the center and dump it into the rear impeller because the front impeller in in that space. 3. Any snowbank hard enough to need breaking up by that 3rd stage is probably too hard for that 3rd stage to reach because it doesn't stick out beyond the shielding. I'm sure it works for most stuff, but it's not a reasonable upgrade to be spending extra cash on. (plus, Cub Cadet is just a re-badged MTD/Troy-Bilt
@walidabraham82117 жыл бұрын
Aaron Barker I totally agree. I actually have this machine (craftsman) 28" all the same and it sucks!. It will pick up that dry, "fluffy" snow. But anything semi heavy or wet it's throwing it a foot in front of you. Clogged up often too... I definitely made a bad investment.

I have tried these machines and didn't find them to be very good. the chute does not stay at the angle you want the snow to be blown and the power to throw the snow out seems to be weak. I own Ariens machines and they throw everything really well especially heavy wet snow. The more snow they get the better they throw. I do wish you many happy years of snowplowing though. I hope it works better for you than it did for me.

My snowblowers throw the snow twice as far. Literally if I wanted to toss snow at the neighbor across the street, the machine will throw it that far if I set the chute up all the way. 2009/2010 everything went to shit when Tecumseh went bankrupt and out of business. Im sorry Im not impressed.

besides the profanity , which i totally agree with , why do you need that for such a teeny little property. I'm interested to hear. Hire a kid , no storage , no repairs, no purchase. But I suppose with that profanity , you'll find it difficult to respond. Best o luck

Why are you guys so sensitive? Profanity upsets you? Look at my other videos...does it sound like I care about what you say....I don't have to validate myself to anyone about my language. If you don't like it don't watch. Is that nice enough so your feelings aren't hurt? People like you PUSSYS is why we start having people upset about what others say. Grow up. Also, most kids don't ever ask to do it and are lazy fuckers these days and they do a piss poor job for more then what they should get paid for. Last I checked I could spend my money,waste my money and do with MY money how I please. but keep coming back and watching...every little comment,click,view and argument gets me traffic. And for that I thank you!

100% Chinese, the engine is junk. 5 years if your lucky. Its so sad how small they make the buckets now..The older snowblowers had large buckets and huge augers these are tiny. The guage of the metal on these are so thin. God help AmericA, the shit they sell ys and we buy, sad. That cant put a candle to my 71" Ariens sno-thro or my 01 snapper with the 8 horse Tecumseh snowking. Or my 2000 MTD power pro. American made machine's not this Chinese crao. MTD owner if cub cadet and the biggest chinese take over of all. Garbage. Bring back our American made tanks!

why would anybody post this...........these thing's are junk.......buy a honda
@GP9railfan8 жыл бұрын
elggod1 Lol Junk? How do you figure? My 3X is over 3 years old and all I've done is change the oil, and just now putting a new auger belt on after 175 hours of heavy snow removal up here in Maine where we average 12-17 feet of snowfall per winter (2-3 feet per storm). It's still running like new, so "junk" is not the correct term here. More like "Beast" would be more appropriate.
