Nice job with your tractor. I just picked up a 2016 Cub Cadet XT1-46 and it has much smaller diameter tires than your Cub. Love the Cub so far!

I got lucky with this one, got it for $850 with 272 hours on it. It was a good platform to build on and left me enough money to do the loader and sleeve hitch. Cubs are good tractors.

Nice build. Bring on the projects, I'm interested to see how it goes. Ag tires are worth the money and make the world of difference. I have a Deere X580 the locker & severe turf tires are awesome.

Have you considered putting a suicide knob on your steering wheel? Would probably make it easier to maneuver while operating the bucket/hitch. I've really enjoyed watching your build come together. I'm not too far down the road from you. Am running a Johnny hitch on a slightly smaller Cub.

I might try that out, still working out the setup but so far so good. The project has become a handful at the end with the wiring and I'm glad I'm about done cause I got a lot of stuff to fix with it. What implements do you use with your Cub?

Nice set up! Does the charging system have any trouble keeping up with the electrically operated attachments?

Thanks 😀 Nope, it works great, I ran the actuators for an hour during testing with the engine off and didn't drain the battery. Here is a demo of the front while I was testing the joystick wiring. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2SQqaV-hKaBd6c

Your not going to put the mower deck back on?
@quantumphaser3 жыл бұрын
It's going back on, just to mow but it gets in the way for dirt/sand work.

Looks cooler without it.

Do you still have it? How’s it running ? I just got the same one looking at the bucket

What are the specs on the actuators? Very cool build. Would like the same set up on my x590.
@quantumphaser2 жыл бұрын
Go to JohnnyProducts.com and they will have the kits with actuators for your model tractor. Thompson makes the actuators for them but there weren't specs in my paperwork. The bucket can lift about 300 pounds max and the. Sleeve hitch unforced and downforce is similar but it can hold more than double that as a static load. I'd say it's just about the right power for a small garden Tractor but it's no 1025r 😁

How much do these go for? And have you tried the Johnny bucket plow?
