Don’t need a press. Clamp shaft in vise, tap shaft slightly to compress spring up against side of vise jaw, and drive in pin when hole shows up

I use my 12 ton upright hydraulic press to compress the main spring. It's a lot easier, quick & the safest way to reassemble a Cub Cadet clutch assembly. gardentractorpullingtips.com/clutch.htm

sounds like fun but i only work on our stuff that way if I mess up or something happens like a bearing freezes or cuz they made in Chinese the bearings dont last long and don't want to take the risk of working on someone else's stuff and getting blamed if something go's wrong

@@NICKSSHOP Ah I figured it would've been heavier. Idk I have a hell of a time pushing my pedal with the stock spring lol (I'm also missing the rubber pad so its a further reach for me)
