I wonder Sam, this may sound naive, but does the videoing of this engine take apart , take much longer when you have to film it ? theres a lot of screws again to remove , it must be tedious sometimes to have to set aside a certain amount of time to film these . Thats why I appreciate the time you take .
@sam-and-angela3 жыл бұрын
Making videos always slows things down! :) It's the hardest part of trying to get things done but also produce a video on it. I'd say the video process at least doubles the actual work time, then you have to add on editing time afterwards. It's def. not a "smart thing" from a time investment standpoint unless you factor in possible revenue from the videos long-term. But even then it's hit-and-miss. Some videos take off, most just get initial views and never grow. It's why my #1 advice to anyone who wants to "try KZbin" is to enjoy the process of creating a video just for the process and not dream or count on any money from it. :)

I love how you guys are able to turn chores, remodeling, maintenance, landscaping, etc into educational opportunities for your children. That's the beautiful joy of parenting quite honestly, being able to teach your children life skills and for them to be completely engaged in the lesson without them necessarily realizing at the moment that they're learning valuable life long skills. Bravo to all of you...Also, keep the cadet for Elijah to hone his landscaping & mechanical skills. You could create an entire new lesson on financing, interest rates & hourly wages, etc for him.

He will help you more and more with that little international! 😀👍🏻

Very strong little tractors Sam. I recently gave a Cub Cadet 123 to a coworker. It ran fine, just always had trouble with the starterator/genenator. Mine had the same exact 12 HP Kohler engine and hydrostat tranny. If you could get traction, it would pull just about anything you hooked to it. I bet it too was an early 60's model. As I'm a 1962 model LoL. Great project for you and Elijah.
