I really like that Cub Cadet. I run an Exmark zero turn and I do have to fight the hills. On the zero turn if it ever starts to slide on a hill you are usually going to end up at the bottom of the hill. I enjoyed the video. All the best from Greensboro NC.

Awesome mower Joey. I wish I would have known Cub cadet made that commercial series before I traded my Scag for the John Deere I have. Yes sir you can't beat your mower on a hill or ditch bank. Might have to trade for one myself. Take care and I hope you are going to get some more rain down there.

Looks really nice. Heavy and great power. I had an Exmark and miss it. The Husqvarna I replaced it with just hasn't lived up to the durability or ease of getting parts. It cuts great, but all the other stuff seems to be lacking. Yours is like old school meets new school!

Hi Joey , that’s a nice piece of equipment. I used to operate a Toro zero turn for years and it hurt my shoulders , because pushing and pulling the steering arms. I went back to my J D lawn tractor. Would have been nice to have a steering wheel on that old Toro. I’m thinking about stopping by the dealer and check one out. Thanks for sharing . Have a good weekend. 😎😎 👍

Hello Joey, you know I am an IH fan and it is Cub yellow (late ones anyway). I think the manufacturer should pay you a commission as this video was off the charts superb. Might be your best one yet? I personally will not purchase one as I have zero need, but it certainly fills a need for many folks. Thanks for sharing a very educational video.

26" tall 12" wide. That's a big tire on a mower. But that's a big boy mower!! If the grass is in check can you mow at 10+ mph?😮
@Jtwes4 ай бұрын
I could mow at that speed on a golf course but not at my yard.

Besides farming I do landscaping and have 1 crew and with this mower it comes down to price. From what I have found, $25,000+ I can come within $5,000 of buying 2 60" commercial zero turns.
@Jtwes5 ай бұрын
Could be . I gave 15,363 for this one and took advantage of the 3.9 % financing.

Do they make a canopy for the unit? I own the first year model came out with an it’s still going !

Hey John Thanks for watching. I haven’t researched that. I would think if they don’t you could engineer something off that roll bar.

It is a zero turn mower just with a steering wheel instead of lap bars. When you turn the wheel it controls the transmissions that power the rear wheels. Someone else tried to make a zero turn with a steering wheel and Cub Cadet sued them and won.

It does an outstanding job. Sticks hills like a goat.

@@Jtwes Yes, I really like mine it is a Pro Z 960S. My property is hilly and my Dixie Chopper was not the right machine for me since I moved to my current house. The Cub Cadet PRO series was recommended to me by friends that had steep areas to mow and also a local golf course.
@Jtwes3 ай бұрын
@@tomw83 I probably should have got the 960 because I really don’t have enough flat ground for the 72. I gouge spots quite a bit . But on the bright side it covers a lot of ground.
@natevanlandingham19454 ай бұрын
Nope i dont put water on mine. Every now n then if its really bad dirty with caked up dirt i will use water but that might be once or twice a year. I think pretty much anything made in the last 30 years or so is sealed bearings. All front wheel drive vehicles pretty much have sealed bearings front and back. Just as a matter of fact changed the passenger front one on the Highlander, just over 300k on them.

@@Jtwes just some rough math. If you cut every two weeks for 7 months a year that's around 600 hours. I have no idea how often you mow but that gives me an idea.
