Cuba and Czech Republic played in the opening round of the 2024 Little League World Series.
Covering sports in a unique way since 2018.

One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Just to share I have umpired for over 15 years at this age group. One thing at Williamsport they tell umpires specifically is to widen the zone. If you have to small of a strike zone,…. I. E the correct zone. You will not be asked back. Plus last year in the middle of a Williamsport game an umpire was removed because zone was to tight. I guarantee know mine notice he disappeared… he was a friend of mine.

@@brianmeen2158 I used to coach I coached in a league that was above LL talent wise! Same age. We played a few all star LL teams in a practice games they were no challenge for us. We beat 3 of those teams!!! I saw than what I see now there all scared at the plate!!! That’s why most of the time the foreign teams win..

debido a la forma en que se organizan las peque;as ligas en cuba, es muy probable que la mayoria o todos los jugadores del equipo tengan 12 años y no halla ningun jugador de 11 o menos. En cuba esa categoria corresponde a la 11-12 años y en esas categorias los jugadores se llaman de primer o segundo año y los que suelen integrar los equipos a los torneos suelen ser los de segundo año, los demas actuan de suplentes. Lo otro que puede ser es que el equipo representa a la ciudad de Santa Clara que tiene 200 mil habitantes y seguro la muestra de jugadores es mayor. Y lo otro es normal que a esa edad los niños empiecen a desarrollarse.

If the catcher had not tried so hard to tag him the second time, they would have given him the out at home. But the catcher knew he missed him on the arm. Reason for diving again to tag.
