I totally agree with you! Unfortunately we cannot do anything about how locals choose to behave. I was similarly upset when japan was playing in Iran and the locals were just hostile for no apparent reason other than they were playing against the home team. People here would always justify this by saying "its part of the game" but i disagree. We can always cheer for our team without being tastlessly rude to the opposing team. This is why i enjoy watching matches held in japan - the crowd will strongly cheer for their hometown favorite, but will always be courteous towards all other visiting teams.
