Do you home work clowns and stop misleading people. I can’t recall who won album of the year but it was between Capital Punishment, It’s dark and hell is hot, and Volume 1 Hard Knock Life. All 3 classics by the way
@jdovma17 жыл бұрын
*Nas was the only one on that track smart enough to go back and revise that verse. Not that Rae and Kiss was trash, but they could've stepped it up a little. There's nothing wrong with realizing you can't sleep through a guest appearance. On Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers, after Chubb Rock walked in and dropped fire on one take, both O.C. and Jeru looked at each other and were like "this mf", and both went home to rewrite their shit. Made that song more classic than classic. I wish more MCs had the self-reflection to know when they gotta step it up. That's something the game is missing these days.

lol vlad Dosent have anything against nas it's just a fact nas could've been the best all time no debate, but because he chose GABAGE ass beats now he's overlooked to an extent, but if nas did choose great beats like hov did there would be no debate, nas all day
@TheRealest1277 жыл бұрын
Sauce Nino wow. Never thought of it like that. That's a different way to look at it. And you right. Cause in a way Nas wasn't really a "Hit" maker. Jay z was more of a Hit maker. He had an ear for beats.
@uche25647 жыл бұрын
KINGSEANFAME exactly and nas had a better pen game that jay did but jays ability to create hit after hit is why he's up there as one of the best
@vect977 жыл бұрын
to each his own. nas had some amazing beats by tons of producers. they're just not that club or radio single. if u want an album full of hitmen production or trackmasters, then fine thats you. I prefer the large pro's, pete rocks, qtips, etc.

Jay z is where he's at not because of his music but because of his business sense. He still a monster tho.
@WhiteSauceher7 жыл бұрын
this is something we all can agree on, shit i even heard jay trying steal a few beats from people who already brought a beat and rapped on it.. for example: the rapper "Bathgate "
