Playoffs, what a beautiful United States thing. I love it. Bringing Jim Curtin to Atlanta with more money, more fans and create a dynasty.

As a season ticket holder, I can attest to the growth in attendance. My team had an average attendance of almost 27,000 people! We had Open Cup matches on a weekday with over 25,000 attendees! This season has been unreal. My team is adding new and more seats during the off-season as well as renovating the restrooms! The last piece of info is mostly for myself! I'm so happy we're getting new restrooms!

"Unexpected run by Seattle"? You obviously do not understand the Sounders. Having only missed one playoff in the 15 years of MLS play, it really is no surprise they are in the playoffs, again, and winning. Maybe not with gaudy 4 or 6 goal games, but with the top defense in the league this year, leave them a bit of breathing room or make a mistake (as LAFC discovered in the 109th minute) and the Rave Green will always move on. Seattle has the richest history of any soccer team in MLS, 50 years and counting. Never count them out until the final whistle sounds.

I'll be honest Max as a foreign fan, ive loved the unpredictability of the playoffs so far, also the owners seem to have taken a leaf out of Europe's book regarding managers "you've got your objectives, do them or your gone" unless someone's built some massive equity that's usually the case, as for Gabriel Pec I've seen worse players go for £30m+, he should eventually command a big fee

Bro i can see a 30 for 30 style documentary about the 2024 MLS playoffs ngl

Miami was always going to struggle in the playoffs even with Messi. Their defense is an absolute joke. Also the fact that people are sleeping on the LA Galaxy is just a massive mistake. The days of that team being feared will be solidified again once they return to the MLS Cup and win. LAFC and the Sounders are about to return to the shadow of the Galaxy.

LAFC is nowhere near the popularity of Miami, and they're NOT the 2nd most popular team in the league despite the media and the league pushing them down our throats. Seattle has a bigger fanbase, and the Galaxy will draw more 👀 to the Cup finals.

LAFC can't even fill a 20k stadium lol

MNUFC we really played a stinker... the 3 weeks off is just ridiculous! Honestly extend the schedule, only have (2) playoff teams: EASTERN CHAMP V WESTERN CHAMP final at a neutral site rotating stadium!!!

Maybe add a 3rd place bronze medal game- with conference runner-ups playing the day before the final

Kinda bummed when I think that I’m seeing the final 1-2 weeks of Gabriel Pec in a G’s jersey. But then I remember all the $$$ they’re gonna get to reload…
@cubanhammerКүн бұрын
You think he transfers out in offseason? Possible, but they would need to get an offer of at least 15 mil.. Probably closer to 20.
@santiagohills3997Күн бұрын
I think his speed and strength makes him a better fit for EPL than Almiron…some mid table team with deep pockets will make Mr Anschutz an offer he can’t refuse. $15M plus a big sell-on %. Plus if he wants to go, it won’t be easier when he’s a year older.
@deomartinez7720 сағат бұрын
He is on a 5 year deal and he until he is offered a buy out contract elsewhere he will not be leaving.
@lenno15697Сағат бұрын
@@cubanhammer They spent $10 mil on him, and he's been playing at an MVP level with 4 years left on his contract. I don't see them letting him go for anything under $30 mil.

Why are we pretending it's a good thing so many top teams are out? MLS needs to allow a lot more spending.
@cubanhammerКүн бұрын
I think we are seeing that transition happening. This is moment League was waiting for.. Ambition is growing across the board.
@stevenygabbyperez695Күн бұрын
@cubanhammer The best thing that can happen to this league is if Inter Miami or another MLS team win CCL and look dangerous in the club world cup. MLS would need to double the salary cap at least to be able to field a team like that. Do you expect them to double it? Is there a good reason why they shouldn't? It seems like they are limiting their own growth for the sake of the cheapest owners.

I can't speak for Columbus. But LAFC and Miami were built off of aging stars. The Galaxy is built off of young talent that's still up and coming

Watching the Galaxy in the playoffs at the Digs? Watching Pec, Puig, Paintsil? I feel lucky!
