Yes you can! But you have to utilise the piano roll (key editor) and draw your notes there

I got a mac from 2003 ish......it needed fixed,I fixed it but I need a 0s 9.1 installation disk and a new mouse.....can u advise me on weather I should persevere or forget it.......I produced a couple o tunes between 98 and 2003....I want to make music for myself.....any advice....

You can use samples but you need to upgrade to Cubase Pro, also you can copy an instrument. Just right click on that channel and choose duplicate track. Check out my new video on using Drum Editor.

Hi make sure you connect your keyboard before you open Cubase. Then try again

You go to the transport control where you'll see 4/4. Click on it and type the time signature you want. Then activate the click sound and record along

I use DAW Cubase 5, I already set up Keyzone classic in my laptop, but when I connected my Digital piano (used as a Midi controller) into my laptop via Midi USB cable, I choose Input: All midi inputs, Output: Keyzone, but when I play my piano, Keyzone doesn't receive signal from my piano 😥, please help me 😢😢, thank you so much

Normally Cubase automatically configures your midi keyboard. just make sure you connect the keyboard before you open Cubase.
